The lab has been busy during the first few months of 2022, installing tower spectrometer systems and making leaf level physiology + spectral measurements in Costa Rica, Alaska, Colorado and our home state of California. Much of this is the result of new projects funded by the NASA Carbon Cycle Science Program trying to better understand the terrestrial carbon cycle in the tropical rainforest and the eastern plains of Colorado; as well as irrigation management strategies funded by the Almond Board of California.
